I have a Canon Pixma MP500 connected direct via USB to my iMac mid 2010 and OSX 10.6.4.
When I print documents from Pages or Teksteditor I only see blank pages coming out of the printer.
When I try to print a test document I only see the colors but the fonts.
But when printing from a web pages it comes out perfectly. And copying documents works fine too.
I have un/in installed the printer and installed the latest drivers.
When installed in my network the printer showed the same problems.
When printing from my MacBookPro (OSX 10.6.4) to the Canon via the network I have the same problems. But when printing from my macbook via USB to my wife's HP printer I have no problems.
Does this points to a my Canon printer as a cause to the problems? If so, why can I print without problems from the web?
I have no idea where to look for a cause/solution.
