I get uniform red streaks when printing. I have done a deep cleaning, and even used the windex cure to clean the head, but the problem still comes back in exactly the same way.

If I had white streaks, I would not hestitate to order a new print head. I have replaced all the cartidges, including the magenta.

The nozzle check looks fine, except the top magenta strip has the bottom of the strip looking much darker than the top half. I do not see any anomalies in the other strips.

When photos are printed, there are uniform vertical red lines, like jail bars.

I would link a picture of each, but I do not have enough posts to do so.

Get a new print head, or get a new printer? Any Ideas?

And many thanks in advance for your help!

It could be the print head, in which case the lines would be in the same place all the time I would imagine.

One trick you could do is to draw three squares fill them with red, yellow and blue and see which colour/s is giving you grief, draw four if you want to see if the black is OK.... just an idea I came up with once.
