Just bought the printer. It is jamming constantly. I haven't even been able to print one thing yet without it constantly jamming. Does anyone else have this problem?

Recommend 20Lb printer paper?
What are you using?
Does your paper curl?
Paper must lay flat in tray. No curling at corners.
Did you remove all shipping tape per instructions?
Look for obstruction in paper path.
Turn printer up-side-down and shake. Maybe something fell down inside.

However, one of your papers can not be written. Most paper jams are simple mechanical problems. He may take the patience to remove the paper, but you have found it, you already know the solution. If you can not find a way out of the box, consult the owner's manual or an expert repairer.

1 Turn off the printer. This reduces the risk of damage to the printer or injury. Wait for the printer to turn off. Unplug the printer for added security.

2
Open the main lid. Remove all loose paper from

The use of force can permanently damage the print head.

3
Remove the paper slowly. To remove the paper, take it and pull very slowly. If the paper breaks, it may be paper that interferes with printing. Pulling too much can also cause injuries, as well as scratching your fingers.

Use tweezers to reach the narrow areas. Shoot even more slowly when using pliers and alternate by pulling the left and right ends of the paper.
Whenever possible, pull in the direction in which the paper is moving in the printer.
If there is no way to prevent it from breaking, take the paper at both ends of the jam. Try to catch all the broken pieces.

4
Remove the print head and try again. If the paper is still stuck, follow your printer's instructions for the ink cartridges. Carefully remove the pieces of torn paper or grab the intact crumpled paper with both hands and the sweater gently down.

If you do not have your printer's manual, look online for "manual" and the model name of your printer.

5
Check the output tray. In inkjet printers, paper is sometimes stuck in the process. Look in the slot that feeds the output tray and gently remove any visible paper.

Some models have a button that will expand this slot, making extraction easier.
