Printing 190gsm stock on Canon Pixma MX535

Trying to print on 190gsm stock on Canon MX535. I loaded it into the front tray and it jammed immediately. Should I use the top feeder tray, or is there a rear tray that will accept heavier stock? I see that it should be able to print photo stock up to 300gsm so that gives me hope but it might be my ineptitude. Thanks in advance.
