I'm looking for assistance from the forum community in figuring out the best materials and techniques for crafting paper food trays. I'm encountering challenges in finding eco-friendly materials that are sturdy enough to hold various types of food without leaking or collapsing.

Additionally, I'm uncertain about the most efficient folding and sealing methods to ensure the trays maintain their shape during use.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You can grab kraft paper at places like office supply stores, craft shops, or online retailers such as Amazon or Uline. You might also find it at packaging suppliers or wholesalers. Just look around for the best deal and quality that suits your needs!

For eco friendly and sturdy paper food trays, Kraft paper or greaseproof paper are excellent options. Kraft paper is durable and biodegradable, while greaseproof paper provides an extra layer of protection against leaks. You could also consider laminating the inside with a thin, food safe biodegradable coating for added sturdiness.

For folding and sealing, try using a template to create precise creases and folds. Double sided tape or food safe glue works well for securing edges. Alternatively, interlocking tabs can provide a more eco friendly, adhesive free solution. Good luck with your project!
