Frequently I have to re-connect my XP-640 printer/scanner to my laptop. I delete any current selections having been presented with "..printer not connected" and select "+" to add the printer again.
However, invariably I am presented with:
Name: Epson XP-540/640 Series Kind: Bonjour Scanner or
Name: Epson XP-640 Series 192.168.1.75 (IP) Kind: EPSON TCPIP
and only occasionally:
Name: Epson XP-640 Series Kind: Bonjour Multifunction - this version being the ONLY one to facilitate 2-sided printing.
Obviously the last version is the preferable one for me but is the hardest to locate - only occasionally achieved by continually deleting and re - searching for available printers.
Why might this be?
