Setting up my Brother DCPL2550DW

I'm going to use this machine wirelessly and want to know what do I actually need from the download page. I'm guessing just Printer Driver & Scanner Driver for Local Connection and Brother iPrint&Scan.

Is it possible to scan directly from the printer without using the software?
