smudge line across the page 3/4 way down

I just installed a maintenance kit on a LJ1320 printer (fuser, transfer roller, paper pickup and paper separator). When I print from the printer now there is a faint smudge line 3/4 way down on the page which goes straight across the page. It happens exactly at the same place on every print. This does not happen anywhere else on the page. I tried a new toner and still have the same issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
