Supply levels say full but won´t write black text documents.

First post here.
I have a Canon iX6800.
The supply levels say fine, but won´t write black documents. Testpatterns write black
And when I take out the ink cartridge it is wet and gives off black ink..?
What can be wrong?

IX6810 here, cousin of your printer, these series came out with some issues , but what you describe sounds more like a software problem. What's the format of the document you are trying to print? what's the app? Word? Excel???

I assume you are on Windows, go to devices and printers, mouse right click, printer properties, and print test page. This will be useful to discard your current application (from where you are printing).
