Hi. I recently had to upgrade my POS pc. Previously I had a 25 pin parallel connector on the pc. The new pc does not - only USB and serial. So far, I have been unable to get the printer configured. I bought a 25 pin cable adapter to USB. Windows does not seem to detect the printer - no new hardware is detected nor does anything new show up in Device manager. I need to know what drive I should use for this printer in this configuration. I also want to confirm that this should be using a USB port, not a LPT port when adding the printer in Windows.
Any help would be appreciated.
