I am unable to update the printer driver on my Apple Computer. I have done everything that I can think of including re-downloading the driver and re-installing from scratch. Every time the ET-4800 Print Dialog box shows version 3.0, which is the generic driver. I have completely removed all printers and started from scratch with a fresh installation and then it still shows the generic driver. I am running Mac OS - Sonoma 14.6.1 and have selected that when downloading the driver or driver package. The issue is the generic driver does not produce good colors and does not have all the options.
I also have a Windows Computer at a different location with the same printer, and it produces wonderful results. I am using Red River card stock paper on both printers.
The driver I am trying to install is the latest driver for MacOS 14x and the driver is 13.26.
What do I need to do to get this driver installed? (Super simple on Windows).
