Use customized default settings with Brother shared printer

Hi,

I can't get a networked MFC-L6800DW printer (attached to Server 2012 R2) to be configured with customized settings and have those settings apply when the printer is added to a Windows 11 client. My setting looks like this:

Printer Port------------Printer Name---------Printer Settings
192.168.10.50---------PrinterDINA5----------DIN A5, use tray 2
192.168.10.50_1------PrinterDINA4----------DIN A4, use all trays except tray 2

I did these settings on the shared printer object on the server in "Basic Settings" of the printer setup page. But when a Windows 11 client connects to one of these printers, it shows the default settings (DIN A4, automatic tray selection etc.). Finally I have to correct the settings manually on each client.

Two questions:

1. How can I achieve that the individualized settings pertain?
2. How can I achieve that print jobs for "PrinterDINA4" only uses trays 1, 3, 4, 5 with automatic switch over if one of the trays is empty?

Thanks for help and regards,
Tim
