I was replacing the printhead on my Brother MFW-6920dw inkjet printer. I unplugged the LCD cable several times, to take the printer apart, and on the last attempt, the LCD went blank. Printer still switches on, and other lights show up. I can even send a print job from my laptop.
The ribbon cable does look a little damaged. I've taken these details from the cable: 80c - 60v vw-1 - f - sumitomo-g awm 20624
It measures 25mm wide, approx 0.16mm thick and approx 190mm long.
It has 48 visible gold pins. I checked this several times
The only similar one I can find is: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00N426NDO/ref=sw_img_1?smid=AIF4G7PLKBOZY&psc=1
But it has 50 pins. I can't find a 48 pin. Am wondering if 2 are hidden on the cable? Also, the one on Amazon is allegedly thicker at 0.5mm.
Thanks in advance
