Good afternoon to all. I have joined your forum with the sole purpose of asking for your advice for which printer is best for me. I am currently using the HP1050a, I think it is. A lovely printer, scanner and photocopier. It's lightly used and up until the last year or so has worked without issue. However....of late it will not print barcodes or qr codes of sufficient quality to be read. A big problem when checking in for flights etc. I would require a printer that will do that without fail. As well as this, and the scanner and copier facilities I would also like Bluetooth so as printing from a mobile device is possible. Now to inks. I've read some negative comments on the Tank variety printers where lack of use can lead to problems. As I said, our printer is lightly used so I'm thinking cartridges would be better. Your thoughts and comments will be very much appreciated as this is not an area in which I have very much knowledge. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

For your needs, I'd recommend looking at the Canon PIXMA series, particularly models like the PIXMA TS9521C. It offers reliable printing for barcodes and QR codes, includes scanning and copying features, and supports Bluetooth for mobile printing. Since you use your printer lightly, sticking with a cartridge-based system might be a better choice to avoid the issues that can arise with tank printers. The Canon PIXMA is known for its consistent quality and ease of use, which should fit your requirements perfectly.

Based on your needs, I'd recommend an inkjet printer like the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e. It offers excellent barcode and QR code printing, scanning, copying, and Bluetooth for mobile printing. Since you don't print often, cartridge based printers are a better fit than tank printers, which can have issues with infrequent use. Another option to consider is the Canon PIXMA TR8620a also a solid all-in-one with mobile compatibility. Hope this helps!

You're welcome! I'm glad to hear you're considering the Canon TS9521C; it's a solid choice for your needs. It appears that the TS9521C model might be harder to find lately, possibly due to newer models coming out or supply issues. You might want to look at the Canon PIXMA TS9520 or TS9522C as potential alternatives—they offer similar features with reliable performance. Additionally, the Canon PIXMA TR8620a is another great all-in-one option that includes printing, scanning, copying, and mobile printing via Bluetooth, and it's more widely available. I hope this helps, and good luck finding the perfect printer!
