Wireless Brother printer disconnecting from network

Hi !

Brother HL-L2360D black & white laser printer.
Connected wirelessly to our very small Time Warner network here in my house.
The TW router, two laptop computers and the Brother printer.
All connected wirelessly.
That's it.

So.
Things were working, pretty much okay for a couple of years.
Then about 3 months ago, every once in a while, we could not print to the Brother printer from either of the laptops.

The solution, in every case was for me to re-configure the network connection on the Brother printer.
Then we can print again for awhile.
Maybe there were other solutions, but I didn't know what else to do.

Anyway, I'm not very bright about these sorts of things so I'm not sure what questions I should ask.

One thing I DID do was contact Time Warner (I think they are called Spectrum now days.).
I pay them a monthly fee for their wireless router.
So, I had hopes they would be of some help.
But of course they weren't.
They told me there wasn't anything wrong with their router so the issue must be with the Brother printer.

The issue continues, with what seems like, more frequency.

Any ideas as to what I should do, to try and figure out what might be occurring when we can't print to the printer, would be greatly appreciated.

The printer is a couple, maybe three years old.
Is it simply time for a NEW printer ?
For some reason I had expected the printer to wear out before any networking issues came into play.

Thanks in advance for any replies
