Xerox 8825 network difficulties

Currently we have a 8825 Plotter working wonderfully with our 7356 Scanner. But as I connect the control tower on the 8825 to the work network through 10/100 Ethernet, the printer does not become visible on the network.

The LED on the printer indicate activity (orange and green LED flash). And I attempted to connect through the network router and directly to a PC, still not visible.

If there is something (a critical step or information on current hardware) that I have forgotten please let me know. Thank you
