adjusting margins on MG2950

I've recently bought a PIXMA MG 2950. I'm generally very pleased with it so far, but cannot find how to adjust what I think is a "stapling margin". The margin on one side is much wider than the other margins and 'cuts off'' part of the image. I cannot find advice anywhere on how to adjust or remove this wide margin - can anyone offer help, please?
