The ink cartridges could be emptied because I did not use my printer for 6 months. But before I go and spend $30 to $60 on cartridges I want to make sure the printer is working OK.
How can I check that? I try to print a sheet and the printer goes through the motion and the sheet comes blank.
I remove the cartridge and damped it and put it back and this is when I get the message
Alignment problems, remove tape from cartridge!
