Before i start i just want to say hello to everyone, first time on this forum, i have a epson r2000 printer, and recently when printing i notice a blue "cast" on top of paper as you can see on pictures. Ive done the numerous steps as: Auto nozzle check and cleaning ,head cleaning, print head alignment. My inks have been changes to new ones and still get that blue cast. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

What photo paper and what ink?
Are these .jpgs from your computer or are they scans of your printed pictures?

Here are some calibrated photos for you to test in your printer:

http://www.colorwiki.com/wiki/Test_Images

Try printing one or two to see if your still get that bluish tint across top of pictures (beginning of print process).
Never seen this before, so am interested in outcome. Let me know

Thank you, i just printed another picture i took in studio and on that picture there isn't a blue cast on top of paper. i also printed the pictures u sent, no blue cast, so i believe it must have been maybe a flash sync problem, but then it wouldn't have been blue but would have been black.

Could it be, that your paper package was open at front, allowing sun light to taint leading edge of paper stack?
Just a theory. Seems i have many. Most are incorrect. Anyway try different glossy photo paper from another source.

Just to complete the record, Nick reports that subsequent prints are ok, with no bluish tint on leading edges.
