Hello guys,
Is there anyone having the same problem? Brother advertises its enhanced mode in the specs, but actually when trying to scan a document with any resolution greater than 1200dpi it returns an error and no actual scanning takes place : the error is a very generic windows error and I transcribed it below :
"A problem prevented the document from being scanned, please try again later or for troubleshooting informations see Help and Support or the information that came with the scanner"
I'd also add that both the firmware and the drivers are all up to date as my general rule when installing anything is not even unpacking the installation CD as I download everything brand new from the website (in this case support.brother.com)
Are people running into this same problem? Has anyone solved this?
