I have a HL-L3270CDW that's only a few years old and hardly used. It no longer prints. When the job is sent from either mac or windows it shows "receiving data" forever. If I reset it and tell it to print a test page from its web page, it shows "printing" forever.
Is there any way to keep this from landfill? I have no problem forking over $300 to get a new one, but I would rather fix it. I am totally capable of taking it apart and replacing parts, and measuring voltage, resistance, and verifying sensors or whatever. I just need some suggestions or guidance.
