Brother mfc-9550cdw color wash randomly appears

Our Brother mfc-9550cdw color laser printer prints ok most of the time but sometimes it prints pages with a color wash across the entire page, when its not suppose to print color. See the two example pages in the attached photo. The left page is what it is suppose to look like. The right page shows the random color wash problem. Do you know how to repair this problem?
