BROTHER MFC-J65100W- Black prints in feint streaks

My machine suddenly started printing the black script in feint streaks. The colour is fine.I replaced the Black cartridge but the problem continues. I have searched the manual for directions to clean the head but cant find anything. I think it needs a bit of maintenance. Does any one have a solution for me?
