Brother Printer 2-Sided scanning option missing

I've been trying to use 2-Sided scanning on my DCP-L8410CDW but the option doesn't seem to appear. The manual shows there being a 2-Sided option in the scan settings within ControlCentre 4 but there's just blank space where that option should be on mine. Any one else run into this?
