Can you print from iPhone 8 to Canon MG5220?

I have an iPhone 8 and Canon Pixma MG5220 printer. I’ve read that this printer is not AirPrint compatible but that there are apps that enable it to be used. I downloaded Canon Print app but can’t find a way to enable it. Has anyone been able to get AirPrint to work using Canon MG 5220? If so, what app did you use? Thanks!
