Canon 44inch advice - 4000?

I've been looking at a Canon Pro 4000 printer for canvas and photo work.
Never had a wide format Canon but always been impressed by smaller machines.
Previously used HP Z2100 so also still considering a later version of this.
From what I can find, the Canon is a better print.
Appreciate it's a single head and has 12 carts.
Any advice from 4000 users would be appreciated, would this still be a good buy?

I would prefer to use genuine ink and like the look.of the 3 different size carts. That said, I did find a company selling refill carts and much cheaper ink.
These worked great in my HP but again, interested to know folks opinions please.

My experience is you usually gets what you pay for. Personally I would stick with OEM but if you want to experiment proceed at your own risk.
