canon pro-200, error code 6A80

After only 130 prints the printer now comes up with a 6A80 code during startup. It's only 15 months old, and Canon support says they no longer repair them. Any help?

Late reply I know but doing a quick search it appears error code 6A80 may be due to a paper jamb or foreign object inside the printer. I’m making the assumption the same code would apply to several Canon printer.

That's about all I could find, too. I have a feeling that something might be wrong with the feed unit. I'd like to get it out and have a look at the mechanism. I've already replaced it with an Epson ET-8550, so it's not an emergency at this point, but I'd like to repair it and send it down the road.
