We just purchased a Canon MF4570dn, and I'm wondering if there's a way to speed up the way it functions. Not the printing or scanning functions....but switching between functions.
Our old multifunction would automatically switch modes. From your computer you could scan a document without walking across the room and hitting the scan button, and then selecting the option to remotely scan. Then you could also hit -print- without having to switch it from scan to print. You could pretty much fax, print and scan without having to touch the printer. With this printer you have to select the function before you can do anything.
Any way to do this on this model? We replaced our old Canon MF5500.
Any other competitive models from other manufacturers that do this? HP1536dnf?
