Canon MG 2220 troubles

Hi
I just can't get anything beyond the test page to print. I get a script message at any web page I try to print. Actually I can't even set it as the default printer. I get this message:
"operation could not be completed(error 0x00000709) Double check the printer name and make sure that the printer is connected to the network"

the printer is there in the printer and devices screen. any suggestions?

* Can you get a nozzle check to print, using the printer's user interface?

* If so, can you get a nozzle check to print with the print-driver?

Okay I did get a nozzle check to print from the interface
how do I do with the driver?
