Canon MG3070S runs out of ink quickly

I recently bought a Canon MG3070S ink jet printer to replace my Hp ink advantage 3635, and I noticed the MG 3070S runs out of ink very quickly almost 1.5 times faster the HP 3635 although sizes of the cartridge are almost same and the firmware is the latest and the print quality is set to standard.

What can be the cause?
