Canon MG5520 where is the MENU key ?

I have had a MG5520 for years win 10 - it always says FIRMWARE UPDATE is available. instructions for update say go to MENU . So I can't find MENU . WHERE IS THAT ? Is it on the printer front itself – can't see it ; or in the little screen somewhere ? Maybe it's in the software QuickMenu ?
