Canon MP990 doesn't connect to router

    Hi! Our WLAN network became slow, and I updated the router drivers (TeleWell TW-EAV510 v2). The slow network was repaired but now I can't connect my wireless printer (Canon Pixma MP990) to the network anymore. The printer finds the network, but when I give the password, it tells me that it is unable to connect to the access point. Canon's own troubleshooting advice doesn't help here either, as they only mention WEP-keys (WEP is not in use in the router) and advise to have DHCP on -- which is on already. Any ideas what could help here?
