Canon pixma g2010 not picking up thick paper

Hi I just bought a canon printer. At first try, everything goes well. From printing a plain paper to photo paper. But after so many attempts, my canon printer wont picking up the matte photo paper with 240gsm and the computer telling me that the rear tray is empty(E02). But if i try in a plain paper there's no a problem. I checked the specification of canon pixma g2010, 275gsm is the maximum thickness of a paper. Do you think there's a problem in the printer? So that I can return it to shop.
