Canon PIXMA MX892
Network Printer (both Win7 and WinXP and different software being used)

Printing a picture with Plain Paper/Standard Quality or High Quality - Black prints black. But, if I select any Photo Paper (thereby using the Dye Based black), the black prints grey.

I've reinstalled Canon drivers, downloaded all updates, even uninstalled the printer and reinstalled. I still cannot get true black from the Photo Black (Dye) ink.

Otherwise, colors print good, sharp photos, all else is good. Just the photo black has stopped printing true black.

Any suggestions?, or is this printer dying?
