Canon Pixma Pro-1 (last 1 inch of printing smears on larger print sizes)

My Canon Pixma Pro prints perfectly on smaller print sizes e.g. 4 x 6", 5 x 7" etc, however when I print A4 / Letter sizes, everything appears normally until the final 1 inch of printing when it makes noises (slippage ??) and page starts to feed crocked and smears this final inch. Feed rollers all appear clean and I have tried all the cleaning options. I did notice a build up of ink on left hand side sponge soakage pads underneath. I soaked this up with some tissue and have got a slight improvement but still have banding on last 1 inch. Any suggestions. See a sample print attached.

Be sure you are using recommended Paper thickness & weight.
Recommend 20 lb copy paper or Inkjet paper (See Your Manual).
Do not use alcohol to clean rubber rollers. (Hardens rubber)
Rubber rollers should be soft & pliable.
Be sure paper guides in paper tray not tight against paper. Should be slight clearance away from paper stack.

Thank you Ruffin. I was printing borderless and when I changed to border, everything worked fine. Then changing the paper seems to have solved the issue including I am now able to borderless print. Many thanks for your assistance
