I have an MF264DW and never had any issues in the past connecting to it through my wifi network.
I had to get a new computer with windows 11 the other day and downloaded the canon software to install on the new computer.
The software will not detect the printer during wifi setup. I’ve confirmed it’s on the network and even tried detecting it via it’s IP address to no avail. I can ping it in cmd
I find it strange it worked on the network with my old computer but is now un detectable.
the printer is in a cabinet and would hate to have to usb it every time.
It won’t recognize it via usb as well. I can use the scanner with windows scan utility and can print via wifi and my phone.
please help!
