I have a Lexmark cs317dn. It's out of yellow toner and gives me the "low toner" message. I have yellow toner in a bottle and can refill the cartridge myself. Does anyone know if I can reset the machine. I can't do it through the menu on the printer, tried everything, can't bypass the low toner message. Is there anyway to bypass through the motherboard or other options? Thanks.

Way too many key pieces of information are missing here. How are you refilling the cartridge? What have you tried so far? If you're only refilling the cartridge without resetting the chip on the cartridge, you're at a dead end and need to either reset the chip or get a new cartridge altogether.

In my case i bought a new cartrige by amazon and he arrive without that fkcni chip on it, so i took the chip from the old cartrige but it needs to be intialised in a way . in any case i suspect the cartrige still get some ink on it but the printer software stop the using it .. before it was empty
