Hello, I am very new to printing and refilling my own ink. I have a Kodak Verite 55w eco printer, this is the only printer I have owned. I really have enjoyed using it. The only problem is the outrageous price of replacing the ink cartridges. I then decided to refill the ink myself which should be cheaper. So I refilled the black ink cartridge and put it back in my printer, but it was still reading empty. I need help in resetting it back to full. I have heard somewhere that some cartridges require chips while others need to be reset. I've looked online and can't find anything about this . Please help me.
