Epson 2800 prints from iOS but not Macbook

I love the print quality of my Epson 2800. HOWEVER, it constantly has issues connecting over wifi. Today I tried to print something from my laptop (Macbook pro, running Mac OS Ventura 13.2). It can't find the printer. But I was able to print from my iPad running iOS 16.5 without an issue. BOTH are on the same wifi network. Sometimes turning the printer off and on again will allow you to print, but not always. I've added our wifi network to this printer several times to no avail. Any ideas? I'm ready to put this printer in the garbage.

To troubleshoot connectivity issues between your Epson 2800 printer and MacBook Pro, ensure they're on the same Wi-Fi network, restart both devices, update software/firmware, reset printer's network settings, check firewall/security settings, and contact Epson support if needed.

Check and clear the print queue on your mac, I think that's where the problem is.
Also try reinstalling the printer driver on your mac.
