epson all in one scanner prob

hi need advice help on this , i have an all in one printer fax copier scanner office BX305FW plus epson all in one until recently it has preformed ok , but just recently my pc a hp touch smart will not find scanner it prints ok copies ok but when i double click on epson scan it just comes up "do you want this app to make changes " yes or no so i click yes then it comes up "cannot comunicate with scanner make sure scanner is on correcetly set up etc etc " my scanner is set up as my phone can send print jobs to it but pc will not connect via wifi , and this scanner manual says scanner is wifi only i have removed scanner in add and remove also have been in deeper and removed epson files etc then done a reinstall but pc still does not find it any ideas please as until recently it was ok i am running windows 10
