Hello all,
I having an issue with my Epson Artisan 1430. The problem is my images that i print from it look faded. I have refillable cartridges in it and bulk ink from printpayless.com. So, I've noticed the difference today when I was printing a set of invitations for one of my customers. I printed the invite through Photoshop and the colors looked faded purple/grey. I saved the image and used the print function from windows photo viewer with the same results. Then I switched up my printer completely. I used my Epson XP-420 with a CISS system with the same ink as in the Artisan with a difference of not having light magenta or light cyan. The print was a night and day difference. How is it that the Artisan is not giving me the better print compared to my cheaper XP-420.
I'm adding a photo to the post below. The invite on top is from the Artisan and the one on the bottom was from the XP-420

I really need my artisan to work because I use that for wide format and also printing on my 110lb Cover Stock.
Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
