A little help please.
I am new to Epson as I previously only owned HP Printers but decided to move to Epson (I hope I do not regret it).
I have had at the ET-5850 up and running for two days now (after a lot of setup aggravation as the software -- in my view -- is very glitchy!).
In using the printer I noticed that the Output Tray is very short (at least relative to the HP's that I have used in the past all of which are long than the paper, be it 8.5" x 11" or 8.5" x 14") in that:
a) it is shorter than the 8.5" x 11" paper; and
b) it *only* supports the paper so that it does not "fall down" after printing or copying.
Wondering wether:
a) Anyone else this to be strange:
b) Anyone else has had problem with this design.
Thanks.
PS. Do not get me started on the mechanical retraction of the Output Tray as I feel this is something that will break in the not too distant future. I really wanted to love this printer but between the buggy / non-functioning software and the output tray design I am not sure it is a keeper!
