Hello,
Im new to this forum and I have small issue with my new printer. I bought him brand new inside the box yesterday. I already contacted Epson and because I have run out of the cyan ink they couldn't help me to do some checks like cleaning and nozzle checks. I ordered today new ink and I will wait for it to come in a few days.
BUT in the mean time I need to post here my problem to see if people happen to them the same thing and give me some insight and when the new ink come to try any method here.
I have photos and detailed explanation for the cardstock I used and everything and the result.
My guess is that the cyan that came with it, was problematic. All other colors seem to work fine and I think the lines with the ink are from rolling the paper. You will see what I mean, sorry for my English it is my second language.
the digital image from photoshop that I tried to print:

here are the results and the various papers:
Cardstock: Linen artistic cardstock Fabriano 300 gsm

the first print and the blue is horribly printed

regural paper for photo copies

Neenah Linen Cardstock 130lb (this one was a huge disaster, like all my dreams were crushed)
http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp309/mcharis/IMG_20161209_194150.jpg
Another design which in my opinion they printed very very good, and I am satisfied with the same Fabriano Linen artistic 300gsm:

http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp309/mcharis/IMG_20161209_005356.jpg
http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp309/mcharis/IMG_20161209_005330.jpg
as you can see it cannot be the problem with the cardstock because with the same settings the last ones printed beautifully, and with some great details that my cellphone cam doesn't even capture.
They do have fainted roll marks and its either dark blue or black, but why does it do this with the blue design?
Can it be the ink that came with it faulty? I used the inks that was already IN the printer, not bought ones.
Please help me!
Charis
