Hi, I've a Kodak ESP3250 printer, recently, the carriage kept jamming to the left. When all obvious solutions were exhausted, I undid a couple of screws on top of the printer (with the top hinged up which gave me space to remove the cartridge and printhead. under the carriage was a spongy pad which was jammed up under the carriage thus prevnting the carriage from moving to its centre position. I pushed this pad down and back into the machine and this freed the carriage. Now the black wont print even with a new cartridge.
