HP Laserjet 2055dn and Windows 8

I have a HP LaserJet 2055dn, which was fine until I installed Windows 8 on my computer. What happens is I print but then it crashes the system the only way then I can overcome the problem is by switching on and off again.

I have tried different drivers they were Hp Windows XP drivers which stopped the crashing of the computer but when I print stuff it is all out of line. Which isn't any good.

Does anyone know of drivers which will work and not crash the computer and is the printer compatible with Windows 8?
