HP LaserJet 5000 ... unidentified loose parts

In taking the fuser sleeve off this printer, I ended up with two loose pieces. They fell out of the fuser assembly after I removed the old sleeve and rotated the whole assembly towards me. I did not see where or what they fell from. Any ideas where they come from? They appear to fit around the fuser, under the sleeve, but have no means of attachment. I don't want to put the new sleeve back on until I confirm where they go. These pieces are not shown in any video I've found on replacing the HP 5000 fuser sleeve. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
