HP MFP M477fdn reassembly problem

OK, I'm replacing the fuser on our M477 printer. Got it apart, then the spring on the part shown attached popped loose. I can't find this in the service manual, where I was hoping to find how it is supposed to align.

Can someone throw me a bone here? Just knowing the part name would probably get me there....
