Okay, so I have a printer. I need it for school and other things. But now, as soon as I need something it dies. Not sure why. The printer has a panel on it, and it's backlight is on. I can't turn it on by the "POWER" button, or disconnecting/reconnecting the power cable (Not anymore at least). I un-plug the power cord from the printer, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. What happens is the main panel, and the printing options screen turns on for HALF a second. Then back off. The thing is, the back light on the "scanning/printing/copying" is on, but no response when the buttons are pressed. It's really aggravating me. I need help thanks in advance :) :D

->Make sure the electrical outlet works
->Make sure that the power supply is compatible with the HP printer
-> Reset the power module and test the power
->Test the power with a compatible power cord from a different printer
->Replace the power module
->Otherwise service the HP printer
