Hi to all forumer,

We have 4 HP9050dn printer. Before we haven't encounter a problem using Tray 4 the error is "Input devices failure"

The Input devices failures appear only after printing more than 50 pieces using tray 4.

The maintenance kit still 50%.

Appreciate all you help.

elmersubs,
1. Check you paper in the tray
2. Check your Tray 4 rollers
3. Make sure the path is clean of paper dust and debris
4. Try replacing the Fuser if you have spares.
5. Try replacing the Vertical Transfer Assembly door. Its right above the tray 4 tray assembly. Sometimes they get worn out, door gets loose, or the spings become disconected from teh door.
*Maintenance Kit, depending if it is HP brand or not can be irrelvant because depending on use, the Fuser can go bad.

we had the same problems, and we call HP to repair it, our machine was not covered by the warranty so the intervention was not free; Our problem was linked to the HP maintenance kit that needed to be changed, which does not seem to be the case for you. if you want to contact them, try this site hp.co.uk/instantrepair
