Hi All,

So I have come across this issue (See images) on the Canon IPF780 and wondering if you had any idea on how to fix this.

Photo 1 shows some text appearing as it should but other text distorted, jagged edges even though the file is quite high res.
See how the Text “Simple Tech Needs” compares to, in quality with “Strong Loyalty with Employer”.

Photo 2 - lines across the image that shouldn't be there.

Any ideas on fixing the issues?

Thanks

this looks like either nozzle deflection or a failing nozzle .

Have you tried doing a print head clean through the maintenance menu in the printer?

Alternately, if that fails, you can easily remove the print head out of a 780 and soak in in some boiling water and a couple of drops of dish soap in a shallow dish, but be cautious not to soak the entire head, just submerge the head face.

Hope this helps
